We can provide advice on getting into fishing, which waters are fishing well or where is best for different fish species. Our local waters are well stocked with Pike, Perch, Roach, Bream, Tench, Carp and Chub. You can also find Tommy Ruff, Dace, Brown Trout and Grayling. The record Barbel caught on the River Calder was caught locally. Whether you want to know where is best on the River Calder to catch or you're heading to fish the canal there is a friendly atmosphere in store where anyone from match angler to novice are often found discussing the sport. Everyone is welcome.
